Colombo (News 1st): The National Elections Commission has announced that all billboards related to the upcoming elections must be taken down by the 7th of this month. The decision was conveyed by NEC officials when they met with police officials and candidates and their representatives at a meeting held yesterday (October 2).

20 candidates have so far placed bonds to contest the upcoming Presidential elections.
