High possibility of evening thundershowers: Met Department

Colombo (News 1st): The Meteorological Department noted that there is a high possibility of evening thundershowers over most parts of the island today (October 3). It noted that fairly heavy falls about 75-100 mm are likely at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-western and Uva provinces as well as in the  Galle, Matara, Anuradhapura, and Vavuniya districts. Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-central provinces during the morning.
