77 dengue related deaths this year

Colombo (News 1st): 77 dengue-related deaths have been reported over the course of this calendar year. The National Dengue Eradication Unit's Director Dr. Aruna Jayasekara stated that during the same period, 50,607 cases had been reported. They further added that the number of reported cases has increased by 10% compared to September last year. He further added that a three day Mosquito eradication program will be launched to combat the issue.
