COLOMBO (News 1st):- Former Army Commander General Mahesh Senanayake has been named as the Presidential candidate of the National People's Movement (NPM) and other civil societies.
His candidacy was declared at an event themed "Rata Rakumata, Rata Nagumata" which is currently underway at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium.
