Economy severely affected by strikes

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Economists state that strike actions of the public sector have imposed adverse effects on the economy of the country. They further noted that strikes has hampered the growth rate of the economy. Senior Lecturer of Economics, Wayamba University Aminda Methsila Perera shared that these strike actions have caused the nation's economic process to come to a standstill.
