Discussions to resolve salary anomalies on Monday

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Cabinet sub-committee appointed to look into problems regarding salary discrepancies of state employees engaged in the strike action was convened yesterday (September 28). It has been decided to discuss salary anomalies with trade union representatives who are currently on strike. Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration JJ Ratnasiri noted that the discussions will be held next Monday. He said that recommendations related to rectifying these salary anomalies following discussions with trade union representatives will be submitted by the subcommittee to the Cabinet.
