Bandula stresses that Sajith must clarify government's agreement with IMF

COLOMBO (News 1st):- UPFA MP Bandula Gunawardena commented on the current economic situation of the country. MP Bandula Gunawardene said that it has been estimated that the economic growth of Sri Lanka will drop to 2.7% this year and that since 2005 this economic growth rate continued to decline to an all-time low in the country. He further said that this occurred when the government of good governance came into power which also resulted in the fall of economic sectors of the country. He says that since the government of good governance came into power that the policy of destroying locals and pleasing foreigners along with the misguiding economic policies that the government had pursued, resulted in the signing of this agreement with the IMF. "What are the conditions that have been imposed on the country by that agreement? It is important that Sajith Premadasa clarifies his stance on this agreement that has been signed and is already being implemented in the country until 2020. The economy has been seriously damaged" - added MP Bandula
