Haul of illegal cigarettes seized in Galle

Colombo (News 1st): Police Special Task Force seized 6560 illegal cigarettes in Hiyare, Galle. According to the STF, two suspects have also been arrested with the cigarettes that were imported to the country without paying the duty tax. Meanwhile, another suspect was arrested in Ratnapura for the possession of 102 illegal cigarettes. The STF noted that the suspect has been handed over to the police for further investigations.
