Colombo (News 1st): The Presidential Commission to Investigate Fraud and Corruption in the present government has issued notice on the Cabinet Secretary to appear before the Commission today (September 25) with a Cabinet Paper relating to the takeover of Neville Fernando Hospital. That was to ensure the authenticity of a Cabinet paper presented by Health Minister Dr Rajitha Senaratne yesterday.

It was revealed at the Presidential Commission that the Cabinet paper was presented on the 13th of last month. The Minister of Health testified before the Commission yesterday (September 24) in connection with an investigation into a complaint that the government had spent money on the Neville Fernando hospital without a government take-over.
