Water supply suspended : Ragama, Ja-ela and Kandana affected

Colombo (News 1st): The water supply to Ragama, Ja-Ela, Kandana and surrounding areas was suspended until this afternoon. The National Water Supply and Drainage Board said the cause for disruption was a failure on the mainline carrying water from Sapugaskanda to Ragama. Water Board Deputy General Manager for the North of the Western Province Prathiraja Ramawickrama said the supply would be restored in a few hours.
