President signs documents seeking extradition of Arjuna Mahendran

Colombo (News 1st): President Maithripala Sirisena has signed the documents which are to be sent to Singapore to seek the extradition of former Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran. The 21,000-page file prepared by the Attorney General is to be sent to the relevant departments in Singapore. The documents were inspected and signed by the President in his capacity as the Minister of Defense. The documents are to be sent to the Singapore Government via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
