Flour increased by Rs 5.50 per kilo; Bread increased by Rs 2 per loaf

Colombo (News 1st): The price of a 450g loaf of bread will be increased by Rs. 2 from midnight today (September 06). Chairman of the All Ceylon Bakery Owners Association N.K. Jayawardena said the decision was based on the price increase imposed on wheat flour. The price of wheat flour was increased by Rs. 5.50 per kilo earlier this afternoon.
