Vehicular traffic in Seenigama limited

COLOMBO (News 1st):- Vehicular traffic in Seenigama along the Galle-Colombo main road will be limited from today (August 31) till the 4th of next month. The decision was taken to facilitate the annual procession of the historic Seenigama Devalaya. Thereby, traffic will be limited both today and tomorrow (September 1) from 1.00 pm to 6.00 pm along the Galle-Colombo main road. Further vehicle travel will be limited on September 2nd from 9.30 pm to 2.30 am the next day (September 3rd). Traffic will also be limited on the 3rd of next month from 10.00 pm to 3.00 am the next day (September 4th) along the Galle- Colombo main road. The police urge drivers travelling towards Seenigama to use alternative routes during this time period.
