COLOMBO (News 1st):- The Ministry of Health states that 42,518 people have reportedly been infected with dengue within the past year.

The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry said that 8839 patients are from the Colombo district, with 6601 patients reported from Gampaha and 4130 people from Kalutara. The number of patients reported from the Galle district within the year is 4359.
