UNP alliance discussions tomorrow

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Recently a number of UNP MPs collectively demanded the Working Committee and the Parliamentary Groups to convene in order to nominate the presidential candidate of the UNP. UNP Chairman, Kabir Hashim shared the plans regarding this request and future plans with the media. He noted that they will hold a discussion tomorrow with the party leaders and other leaders from the parties which intend to form an alliance. He added that during the discussion they will prioritize the formation of the alliance and consequently the candidate.
