COLOMBO (News 1st) -The party leaders meeting to discuss the presidential candidate of the UNP is scheduled for tomorrow. In the meantime, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe met several TNA representatives, this morning.

Advisor to the Ministry of National Policies and Economic Affairs, Attorney at law Sudarshana Gunewardena said, discussions were held on the development process of the Palali Airport. Sudarshana Gunewardena added, discussions mainly focused on the opening of the Palali airport in October this year.

TNA MP, Mavei Senathiraja said, they did not discuss anything relating to the presidential election or the candidate for the upcoming presidential election.

The meeting was attended by Ministers Thilak Marapana, Arjuna Ranatunge, and MP M.A.Sumanthiran.
