24/7 Community Health Center to be constructed in Tissamaharama

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Deputy Leader of the United National Party, Minister Sajith Premadasa recently laid the foundation stone for the construction of a community health centre in Ranminitenna, Tissamaharama. The Community Health Centre is constructed to uplift the health of those living in Ranminithenna at the expense of Rs 7.4mn which is born by a private institution. The Community Health Centre will operate 24/7 and will have a staff comprising of a doctor and a nurse. Minister Sajith Premadasa, Deputy Leader of the UNP noted that a helipad was constructed for the convenience of the visitors that come to the race track nearby. He noted that it was built for the rich while the poor were left aside. He added that today he is building a Community Health Center for the common man. He went on to note that the center will be open every day with a doctor and nurse serving as the staff. He added that with time people would come to know the value of this Community Health Center.
