720 kg of beedi leaves seized by STF in Mannar

COLOMBO (News 1st):- A person who was transporting a haul of 720 kg beedi leaves illegally in a container has been arrested in Murunkan, Mannar by the Police STF. The person was arrested, the container and the beedi leaves were seized following a raid carried out near Murunkan. The raid was carried out as per information received by the Mannar Police STF.
