CEA identifies culprits behind medical waste dumps

COLOMBO (News 1st):- The Central Environmental Authority states that three people connected to illegally dumping medical waste from hospitals in an illegal manner have been identified. Director of the Chemicals and Hazardous Waste Management Unit of the CEA, Ajith Weerasundara states that legal action will be implemented against them in the near future. In the recent past, many incidents of medical waste being dumped illegally were reported from Sewanagala, Hambantota and several other places.
