President requests to refrain from denigrating national security

COLOMBO (News 1st): President Maithripala Sirisena requests the people to refrain from making inappropriate and insulting statements on the national security of the country. He further said that statements inciting violence upon the future generations of the country should not be made just because of narrow political agendas. The President added that the entire country is indebted to the defence forces for their service rendered towards ensuring the democracy, freedom and the national security of the country.
