Colombo (News 1st): The Navy in coordination with Sri Lanka Police arrested a person with a stock of Kerala cannabis, during a raid carried out in Pandatharippu, Jaffna yesterday (August 12).

Accordingly, they had recovered 39.32kg of Kerala cannabis which was hidden in a house at Pandatharippu and a suspicious person there was also apprehended. The suspect is a resident of the same area and aged 27. The seized Kerala cannabis is worth over Rs. 3 million.

Further, Northern Naval Command apprehended 3 persons with 83.9kg of Kerala cannabis at Keeramale during a raid.
