SLPP Dambulla Municipal Councilor arrested

Colombo (News1st) - A Sri Lanka Podujana Permuna councilor of the Dambulla Municipal Council has been arrested.
According to the Police, Municipal Councilor Anura Bandara was arrested at around 3 am on charges of allegedly assaulting an individual with a sharp weapon.
The Police added that the individual who suffered injuries in the attack is currently hospitalized.
