National Medicines Regulatory Authority identified three people who placed orders with illegal drug manufacturing plant in Kelaniya

Colombo (News 1st): The National Medicines Regulatory Authority had identified three people who placed orders with an illegal drug manufacturing plant which was raided in Kelaniya. The Chief Drug and Food Inspector of the Authority, Amit Perera said on Tuesday court would be apprised of these three people. It has already been revealed, 10 varieties of expired medicines detected from the illegal drug manufacturing plant were repacked and distributed to the local market. At present, the National Medicines Regulatory Authority has deployed teams across the country to detect the expired medicines while on earlier occasion stocks were seized from 20 separate locations.
