DUI campaign: 6790 arrested in islandwide

COLOMBO (News 1st): 6790 individuals have been arrested for driving under the influence in islandwide DUI raids conducted over 28 days. Police media spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara said that the islandwide raid commenced on the 5th of last month. 131 persons were reportedly arrested for DUI within the last 24 hours that ended at 6.00 am on August 2.
