Six injured in an accident along Mahiyangana - Badulla main road

Colombo (News 1st): Six people have been injured due to an accident that occurred near the 18th milepost along the Mahiyangana - Badulla main road. According to the police the accident took place when a three-wheeler traveling from Badulla to Meegahakivula veered off the road. Police suspect that the accident may have been caused by the driver falling asleep. The injured aged, 30,40 and 50 have been admitted to the Badulla hospital. Further investigations underway.
