Suspect arrested with narcotic pills worth Rs.15Mn

Colombo (News 1st): A suspect has been arrested with a haul of narcotic pills with a street value of around Rs. 15 million at the Central Mail Exchange.
Customs spokesperson, Sunil Jayaratne noted that they discovered 3050 ecstasy pills in the package.
The parcel had arrived from Portugal. The suspect was arrested when he arrived at the Central Mail Exchange to claim the parcel. The suspect is a 27-year-old resident of Colombo 14.
