"My appointment will be of no cost to the ministry" - New State Minister Buddhika Pathirana

Colombo(News1st) - Deputy Minister Buddhika Pathirana was appointed as the new State Minister of Industry & Commerce, Resettlement of Protracted Displaced Persons, Co-operative Development and Vocational Training & Skills Development yesterday. The Minister commenced his duties at his office without any sort of welcoming celebration standing by his statement "my appointment will be of no cost to the ministry". Meanwhile, the new Nila Sevana Office was opened in Katuwangoda, Matara yesterday (29 July), under the auspices of State Minister Buddhika Pathirana. The services of the Grama Niladhari officers, Economic Development officers, and Samurdhi Development officers can be obtained under one roof from the Nila Sevana office.
