Accident in Wahamalugollewa takes lives of 3, 8 injured

Colombo (News1st) - An accident that took place in Wahamalugollewa, on the Medawachchiya-Anuradhapura road has taken the lives of 3, leaving 8 others severely injured. Police stated that a luxury bus travelling towards Jaffna had collided with a lorry heading towards Dambulla at around 11:50 last night. (28 July) The three deceased victims were 53, 30 and 12 years of age and were reported to be residents of Jaffna. The injured are currently receiving treatment at the Anuradhapura Hospital. The police further stated that among the wounded, 3 of the 8 were children.
