Island-wide DUI raids: 5924 arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st): 5924 individuals have been arrested for driving under the influence in islandwide raids conducted over a period of 22 days.
Police media spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara said that the islandwide raid commenced on the 5th of last month. 219 individuals were arrested for DUI within the last 24 hours that ended at 6.00 am today (July 28).
