COLOMBO (News 1st) – A person was stabbed to death at Kaluagalla, Kosgama today (July 28). Police stated that the victim was a chief suspect in a case of double homicide.

It was reported that two women were stabbed to death last year in the Werella Mandiya area. The victim was ordered to appear before Kosagama Police Division every Sunday regarding this incident.

Police stated that the victim was killed by an assailant who arrived in a car as he left the police division and that one of the husbands of the double murder victims had carried out the assault.

Five suspects were arrested regarding the incident and they are to be produced before the court tomorrow(July 29).
