Heavy rainfall predicted!

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Department of Meteorology has forecasted heavy rains for many provinces over the day. The department further notes that heavy rainfall exceeding 50mm could be expected from the Central and Sabaragamuwa provinces. Further intermittent rains could be expected from the Western, Sabaragamuwa, North Western and Central provinces and the Galle and Matara districts. The wind speed is due to increase up to 50-55 kmph over Negombo to Chilaw and the coastal area of Puttalam and Hambantota to Pothuvil.
