Compensation for distraught farmers

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Agrarian Insurance Board states that measures have been taken to provide compensation to the farmers whose crops were destroyed due to the drought during the last year's Yala season. Director-General of the Board, Panduka Weerasinghe states that the process of providing compensation is due to begin from the 02nd of next month.
