16-hour water cut announced to Kolonnawa and surrounding areas

Colombo (News 1st):  The National Water Supply and Drainage Board has announced that a 16-hour water cut will be imposed to several areas including the Kolonnawa Urban Council area from 8 pm tonight (July 25). Accordingly, Moragasmulla, Ethulkotte, Obyesekarapura, Bandaranayakepura, Nawala, Koswatta,   the main road from Rajagiriya to Nawala Open University and all the byroads along the route will be affected by the water cut. The water cut has been announced due to a sudden breakdown of the main transmission pipe which supplies water to the Kolonnawa water tank.
