COLOMBO (News 1st): A Sri Lankan national has been arrested at the BIA Customs for the possession of foreign currency (Saudi Riyal) worth over Rs. 8.9 million.

Media Spokesperson of the Customs, Sunil Jayarathne stated that the suspect a 23-year-old from Colombo was arrested when he was travelling to Chennai, India.  At the time of arrest, the suspect was in possession of 190,000 Saudi Riyal.
