COLOMBO (News 1st): A motor accident reported from Yakahalpotha, Akiriyankumbura, Ridimaliyadda claimed the life of a child.

The accident occurred last evening (July 21) when a cab knocked down the child who was attempting to cross the road. The child who sustained severe injuries in the accident died upon admission to the hospital.

The driver of the cab has been arrested over the incident.
