4387 arrested in islandwide DUI raids

COLOMBO (News 1st): 4387 individuals have been apprehended in islandwide DUI raids conducted over a period of 16 days. Police Media Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara said that the islandwide raid was initiated on the 05th of this month.
Within the last 24 hours that ended at 6.00 am this morning (July 21) 284 people were arrested for driving under the influence.
