DUI raid: 3493 arrested over 12 days

Colombo (News 1st): 3493 people have been arrested for drunk driving over the past 12 days. The Police media unit said special raids on drunk drivers began on the 5th of this month.
The police said during just the 24 hour period ending 6 am today (July 17), 139 drivers had been arrested for driving under the influence.
