Colombo (News 1st): Sri Lankans will have the opportunity to witness a partial lunar eclipse at midnight tonight (July 16).
Professor Chandana Jayaratne, Director of the Astronomy and Space Science Unit of the University of Colombo stated that this eclipse will be visible to Sri Lanka as well as to many countries in Australia, Africa, South America, Europe, and Asia.
It will be the last lunar eclipse this year and the people of Sri Lanka will have the opportunity to witness the next lunar eclipse of this nature on the 26th of May, 2021.
