Accident claims lives of father and daughter

Colombo (News1st) - A tragic accident occurred this morning which claimed the lives of a father and his daughter. According to the police, the incident occurred when the motorcycle the victims were on, collided with a train at an unguarded level crossing in Wandurawa, Veyangoda. The accident occurred at around 6.30am and the train involved was an intercity train traveling from Mt. Lavinia to Kakasanthurei. The deceased have been identified as a 45-year-old resident of Raddolugama and his 11-year-old daughter.  The remains currently lie at the Wathupitiwala hospital.
