Rainy weather to prolong in the coming days

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Department of Meteorology states that the prevailing rains could be experienced in the forthcoming days as well. The department further noted that certain areas of the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts could experience rainfall of 100 mm. While rainfall exceeding 50mm could be experienced in the Uva and Eastern provinces, thundershowers are predicted for the Sabaragamuwa, Central, Western and Wayamba provinces and the Galle and Matara district.
