COLOMBO (News 1st) – Details about another scam similar to “Sakvithi” scam has come to light. Several institutions have commenced investigations into real estate agency Blue Mountain Properties. The company’s business activities include real estate, land sales, condominiums and property management.

Those who purchased lands from Blue Mountains properties are left stranded as the lands are mortgaged under several banks.

They claim that the company had mortgaged the land that was sold to them and obtained money.

Police media spokesperson, SP Ruwan Gunasekara noted that the Special Criminal Investigation Unit in Mt. Lavinia has commenced investigations on the complaints filed against the Blue Mountain Properties.
