Andy Murray and Serena Williams win smooth match in mixed doubles

REUTERS: Andy Murray and Serena Williams won their opening-round mixed doubles match against Andreas Mies and Alexa Guarachi 6-4 6-1 on Saturday (July 6). They will face the 14th-seeded pairing of Fabrice Martin and Raquel Atawo in the second round. Both Williams and Murray had games earlier on in the day with Williams beating Julia Goerges in the women's singles and Murray losing in the men's doubles alongside partner Pierre-Hugues Herbert to the Croat pairing of Nikola Mektic and Franco Skugor.
