Parliamentary Party Leaders' meeting to discuss Land Grants Act

Colombo (News 1st): A Parliamentary Party Leaders' meeting is to be held on Monday (July 8). The meeting scheduled for a 9.30am start at the Parliamentary Complex will focus on the Land Grants (Special Provisions) Act which is to be debated in Parliament on Friday. Several petitions have been filed in Court against the Bill and hence the party leaders' meeting is to discuss whether to cancel the debate on the bill altogether.
