Shanil Neththicumara granted bail

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Colombo High Court Judge, Gihan Kulathunga today (July 04) ordered that Shanil Neththicumara be released on a cash bail of Rs. 50,000 and two sureties of Rs. 500,000 each. A case filed against him by the Attorney General's Department under three charges, including the alleged threatening of Jayantha Wijesuriya, the brother of Anika Wijesuriya who testified that a house rented by the Perpetual Treasuries Limited accommodated the family members of Minister Ravi Karnuanayake. The case will be heard once again on August 9th.
