Abhiman Waram : Day 2 promotional campaign reaches Badulla, Moneragala and Ampara

Colombo (News 1st):  The promotional campaign of the Abhiman Waram Scholarship program, jointly powered by Anchor and the champion network continued in the Badulla, Moneragala and Ampara districts today (July 03), for the second consecutive day. "Abhiman Waram" is a program created to identify and groom talented Sri Lankan children who continue to dream despite numerous trials and tribulations. The next phase of the Abhiman Waram promotional campaign commenced in Badulla this morning, from the Bandarawela Vishaka Vidyalaya. The campaign continued in Hali Ela and Badulla town. Another Abhiman Waram promotional campaign kicked off in the Monaragala district today, following the positive feedback of students from the area. The Abhiman Waram team visited several schools including the Siyambalanduwa Maha Vidyalaya, Siyambalanduwa, 4th Mile Post Vidyalaya and the Uhana Maha Vidyalaya to inform the students of the scholarship program. The Abhiman Waram promotional campaign also took place in Ampara this evening. Students from around the island between the ages of 12 – 18 can apply for the “Abhiman Waram” scholarship program. Students will be assessed under the 10 categories for the scholarship program. The promotional campaign for the Abiman Waram scholarship program 2019, will take place in the Batticaloa and Nuwara Eliya districts tomorrow (July 4).
