Ex-defense secretary and IGP hospitalized on the same day

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Former Defense Secretary Hemasiri Fernando and IGP Pujith Jayasundara, who is on compulsory leave, failed to appear before the CID today after being hospitalized. The duo were summoned before the CID to record statements regarding the April 21st terror attacks.
Hemasiri Fernando has been admitted to the Cardiology Unit of the Colombo National Hospital this morning while IGP Jayasundara was admitted to the Narahenpita Police Hospital earlier today.
