Tablets for students programme is a milestone-Akila Viraj Kariyawasam

COLOMBO (News 1st) -  Minister of Education, Akila Viraj Kariyawasam stated that politicians with outdated ideologies are obstructing the program to provide teachers and students with computer tablets. Issuing a communique, the minister noted that the program to provide tablets to teachers and students was delayed due to the deliberate attempts to sabotage the program through unfair criticism. However, the Minister adds that the historic decision taken by the President, the Prime Minister and the Cabinet of Ministers on the 25th of last month, was a huge milestone achieved in the field of education.
