Revelation on more state sector employees paid by the US

COLOMBO (News 1st): On a previous occasion, it was reported that an advisor in parliament is on the payroll of an American corporation. The Opposition today brought up the fact that such employees are present at a number of other institutions in the country as well. Speaking on the matter, UPFA MP C. B. Ratnayake said that a person receiving payments from the US has been recruited as the advisor to Speaker Karu Jayasuriya. He further said that similar people have been assigned into institutions like the police, the office of the IGP, FCID, the Judiciary and the CBSL. The parliamentarian highlighted the need to remove the present government from power for doing things as bending to the needs of another country when speaking of a sovereign state on one side.
