Drug trafficker arrested in Navy search operation

COLOMBO (News 1st): During a search operation conducted in the Kudawella fishery harbour in Matara, Naval personnel attached to the Southern Naval Command in coordination with the STF personnel of Pattiyapola arrested a drug trafficker. The suspect was identified as a drug dealer in the area. The 24-year-old suspect is a resident of Tissamaharama.  The suspect along with 100g of Kerala cannabis found in his possession was handed over to the Tangalle Police for further investigations.
