COLOMBO (News 1st) – UNP Parliamentarian, Harshana Rajakaruna noted that when the Parliamentary Select Committee into 4/21 was formed, MPs of the opposition refused to participate.

He added that today the committee is facing accusations despite the initial invitation to the opposition to join the committee.

He went on to note that the committee has no ulterior motive than holding those accountable for 4/21 attacks.

He said that the prime minister confidently faced the presidential commission before and he would do it again when he is summoned.
